Australian Wings Group is really a meeting place where pilots can 'do their thing'. Auzwings (Short for Australian Wings Group)uses the facilities at Emerald Lake as their operational base.

Pilots can practice any aspect of flying they like and can do so without having to conform to Air Traffic Control. Emerald Lake is a great place for new pilots to hone their skills individually or in company of fellow pilots using their own radio frequency.

It is planned in the future to construct pylons out on the lake so that pilots can practice or compete in Red Bull racing.

Go to the Downloads section and you have the choice of downloading YEWA Emerald Lake or YAWG Emerald Lake. YEWA is the home of East West Airlines and the hangars reflect this. YAWG is the identical file with the removal of "East West Airlines" signage. You can only use one of the files as the location of both is identical.
